Letters to the Lost: A creative writing night using forgotten methods of care to tend to forgotten parts of self.

The invitation:

Come join fellow humans as we make contact with possible lost and forgotten parts of self. We will start with a poem for mindful reflection and move on to loosely guided searching for/asking what part of ourselves that has been lost/forgotten that needs our attention. 

You can choose from a myriad of stationary, writing utensils, and other supplies to write a letter to this part. At the end of the writing, there will be a plethora of wax seals and wax colors to choose from to seal your letter. What you do after that with your letter is up to you. For example: you can give me the letter to mail it for you on a future date, take the letter with you, burn the letter- really whatever…
